When Story Becomes Life is the title of a new book by Dr. Erwin Brese. The book is a compendium of his short stories based on his experiences as a pastor, counselor, admin-istrator, professor, author, spiritual mentor and educator. Copies may also be found in churches or bookstores including Benders (Clarence), The Light- house (SW Blvd), Concordia Seminary Book- store in St. Catharines, Ontario. The book con- tains 15 narratives and sells for $9.50 (add & $2.50 for shipping and handling), with pro- ceeds benefiting the Samaritan Counseling Center and will be used to assist clients who are unable to pay the full amount for their counseling.
