The Samaritan Center provides confidential, professional counseling for individuals, couples, children, and families in a spiritual, faith-oriented context.

Our certified pastoral counselors are committed to making counseling services available to all individuals. Fees for counseling are set on a sliding scale based on income and circumstances. Some health insurance carriers also cover services.

The Center receives support from Western New York churches, foundations, corporations and individuals. Please make a donation if you would like to help spread our healing services to lower-income families and individuals.

When Story Becomes Life, is the title of the soon-to-be-released book by the Samaritan Center. It contains parables, narratives and experiences of a pastoral counselor written by staff member, Dr. Erwin Brese. As a fund raiser for the Agency, the book will sell for a minimum of $17.50. It will be on sale at the main office on Old Falls Blvd. in North Tonawanda as well as at LIFE RESOURCES bookstore on Niagara Falls Blvd. in Amherst or at other churches or book stores that agree to handle it.

This book gives much insight into the work of a Christian pastoral counselor and those he is priveleged to serve as fellow pilgrims in this world on the way to the next.
